MANDY FARMER

BIO

Mandy Farmer studied Fine Art in the UK  and although originally trained as a portrait painter, she has embraced a more diverse creative path and has used her creativity to explore a wide variety of media.

 

Her company ArtWorks handles large-scale commissions for the private and public sectors including murals and mosaic installations and she has worked collaboratively with other Artists for larger projects and community based work.

As an Artist in Residence, she has worked on numerous educational projects and has experience of working with a broad range of  sectors, engaging people through creativity and participation.

 

A special interest is recording the craft and process that can be witnessed in the “behind the scenes” life of dancers and musicians. Through reportage style portraiture, drawings and mixed media work Mandy has worked with several internationally renowned performers as Tour Artist.

 

Her commercial work has included corporate design and branding, illustration and photography for a range of multi-national clients.

 

Mandy has exhibited widely and her work is held in collections across the UK, Australia and the United States of America.
